The Riviera Resort & Spa is situated in one of the most picturesque and charming areas in the north of Malta, just across the channel from the sister Islands of Gozo and Comino. A regular public bus service connects the Resort to all major towns on the Island including the historic capital Valletta, shopping centre of Sliema and the nightspots of St. Julian's. Mellieha Village and Mellieha Bay, the Island's largest sandy beach, are just a couple of minutes away by car or by bus. The Gozo Ferry terminal is only 1km away and boats to Blue Lagoon and Comino are available in the summer months from the pier in front of the Resort.
Reception area with welcoming lounge is situated at the entrance of the Resort, offering 24 hours service. A lobby shop selling newspapers, books and magazines together with utilities and souvenirs opens during the day. Information room with abundant tourist information and assistance is also available separately.
The 250 rooms, including a number of suites and superior rooms are luxuriously furnished to ensure maximum comfort. Most enjoy unobstructed sea views and an enchanting view of the channel and the Islands of Comino and Gozo. Others enjoy unspoilt open country views. Rich in style and décor the Resort offers its exquisite cuisine in various indoor and outdoor bars and restaurants, all enjoying open seaviews. At the Mirasol, the Resort’s main restaurant, one can have a lavish buffet breakfast and dinner, whilst the Bistro offers a la carte cuisine and other light dishes for lunch and dinner. The Charley Noble Cocktail Bar is opened every evening and the Lobby Bar during the day. The Pool Bar is open all day during the Summer months offering a variety of snacks, lunch and beverages.
The Riviera Resort & Spa is also an excellent venue for business, with an area of over 860m2 of meeting space; the Resort offers a combination of several different meeting set-ups, the largest multipurpose room having a capacity of over 300. La Bodega Wine Bar, is a cellar wine bar, used exclusively as a venue for private groups.
For relaxation and pampering, the Elysium Spa, complete with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room, squash court, sauna, and other hydrotherapy facilities, offers a variety of individual treatments and special slimming, relaxation and beauty packages.
Other sport and leisure facilities include a professional diving centre with its own indoor training pool, classroom and fully trained instructions. Water sports are also offered in the summer months. Two spacious swimming pools and a children’s pool compliment a tranquil pool deck with a pool bar overlooking the picturesque quayside bay. The Resort’s small picturesque sandy beach, Hola Beach, is situated 100m away and offers beach facilities and full bar service during the peak season. Barbeques, weddings and private functions are organised in the summer months.
